Our Kids
For over 44 years Community Family Guidance Center has been a non-profit agency providing a wide range of mental health services to our Southeast Los Angeles County under-served children ages 0 through 21. We are a culturally sensitive agency providing bilingual services. Nearly 80% of our clients come to us with trauma related issues including trauma from physical, mental, and sexual abuse.
Our Schools
Community Family Guidance Center has established working relationships with schools within the Southeast Los Angeles County area. These schools include the Los Angeles Unified School District (schools within the cities of Bell, Cudahy, and Southgate areas), the Downey Unified School District, the Bellflower Unified School District, the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, Cerritos' ABC Unified School District, and more. In a number of these schools we perform services on campus as well as help teachers and staff learn how to identify and help children in need.
Our Communities
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency serving the Southeast area of Los Angeles County which includes the communities of Artesia, Bell, Bellflower, Bell Gardens, Cerritos, City of Commerce, City Terrace, Cudahy, Downey, East Los Angeles, Hawaiian Gardens, Huntington Park, La Habra Heights, Lakewood, La Mirada, Los Nietos, Maywood, Montebello, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Signal Hill, South Gate, Vernon, Walnut Park, Whittier, and others.
